Peggy Halperin

Peggy Halperin, 83, of Syracuse, NY, died peacefully on May 29, 2024. She was born in Hudson Falls, NY on December 18, 1940. She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Silas Halperin.  She is survived by her children Denise Webb (Peter), Barry Halperin (Shawn), and Tana Pusey (Daniel). Peggy had 7 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren.

Peggy earned her Registered Nurse degree and a MS in Psychiatric Nursing from Syracuse University. She worked as a nurse in numerous locations & fields throughout the Syracuse area. She also instructed nursing at Syracuse University. Upon retiring Peggy took up the study of studio arts at Syracuse University learning pottery, glass work, painting, jewelry making, metal work and more. Her family extends a heart-felt "thank you" to her caregivers at The Nottingham RHCF. There will be no calling hours or service. Peggy donated her body to the SUNY Upstate Medical University’s Anatomical Gift Program.
