Patricia Macie

Our loving mother and devoted wife, Patricia Rosann Macie (King), 71 of DeWitt, passed away at home while surrounded by loved ones on May 12, 2020. Born October 31, 1948 to the late William and Virginia King (Regnier), Patricia grew up in La Grange Park, IL. She earned her bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Loyola of Chicago which led her to a career in programming and accounting, but not before meeting her soul mate on the first day of their freshmen year. As a proud navy wife, she and her husband moved numerous times across the country before eventually settling in DeWitt, NY with their three daughters. Patricia dedicated her life to her family and instilled in them her passion for the outdoors. Her adventurous spirit led her to enjoy gardening, hiking, camping, reading, antiquing and travelling with her family. Patricia is survived by her husband, Joseph Clayton Macie, and daughters, Katherine (Timothy) Hill, Elizabeth Macie and Anne (Carl) Fuchs. A private gathering will be held by the family with a public mass at Holy Cross Church on a future date.
