Michael R. Maar

Michael R. Maar, 70 of Syracuse passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on October 28th after a brief illness. He now finds peace in the company of his brother, Jon, and his parents. Mike lived most of his life in Syracuse. A Nottingham High School graduate, he earned a degree in Business from Syracuse University and later a degree in Computer Technology. He retired from Verizon in 2015. Mike is survived by his sister, Becky DiMaggio (David) of Camillus, and his brother Ric (Sue) of Dewitt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral and burial services will be private.
