Maurene Hogan

Maurene G. Hogan, 86, of Syracuse passed away peacefully Friday Aug. 25, 2017. Maurene was a proud graduate of USC where she studied Art. An Avid reader, who enjoyed popular movies, and playing Bridge and Chess. She enjoyed a long career working as a legal secretary for her husband John M. Hogan and his law practice. She also enjoyed her time working for IBM. Predeceased by her husband John M. Hogan, Maurene is survived by her son Jonathan Michael Hogan of Syracuse and several nieces and nephews in Southern California. A visitation will be held on Wednesday August 30th from 10-11 am at Burns-Garfield Funeral Home, E Genesee St. Syracuse. Followed by graveside service at St. Agnes Cemetery. www.burnsgarfield.com
