Mary El-Amir, aged 74, died peacefully on April 30, 2018 with her family by her side after a brief illness. Mary was born August 16, 1943, in Amman Jordan the daughter of Yousef and Munira Shamma. She worked at Crouse Hospital for 35 years as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician and Pharmacy technician. Her family meant everything to her, and she always made sure they were well cared for. She was also an incredible person and a wonderful friend to people who knew her. She will forever be loved, missed and will never be forgotten by her family and close friends. The world is a little emptier today without Mary and her passing was felt by many here and in Jordan and Syria, but we are grateful for the years we had her with us on this earth.
