Joseph F. Esposito of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday January 6, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. Joe was born in Syracuse to the late Francis and Ursula Esposito. He graduated from Nottingham High School, spent 8 years in the National Guard Reserve and worked 40 years for Niagara Mohawk as a Supervisor. He resided for the past 46 years in Fayetteville NY with his wife Mitzi.
"Poppy" dedicated his life to his family. He loved Sunday dinners, hunting, fishing, gardening, boating and spending time with his family at the St Lawrence River camp he built. His work ethic, sense of humor, and humble generosity will be truly missed.
He is survived by his wife Mitzi of 63 years. His children, Karen (Gary), Carolyn (Mark), Lena (Roy), Joseph (Mary) and 9 Grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Catherine Mary.
Services will be held Thursday, January 11th at the Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville NY. Calling hours are from 10 am – 12 with funeral mass to follow. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery.
