Iva Harlow

Iva Jeffries Harlow, 95 received her wings on Monday, April 11, 2022 at WellStar Community Hospice (Tranquility at Cobb), Austell, GA.   She was born in Farrell, PA on June 16, 1926.  Her family moved to Syracuse, NY where she lived until relocating to Atlanta, GA in August 2014 to live with her daughter.  

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles (2014) to whom she was married for 68 years, son David (2019) and grandson Jeremy Harlow (1998).  Iva is predeceased by her parents John and Lillie Jeffries; five sisters: Agnes Hill, Mazie Foy, Thelma Brice, Fay Tucker and Delores Godley and one brother, Mahlon Jeffries.

She leaves to mourn her passing: daughter – Fay Harlow (Atlanta), two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be at 11 am  held on Wednesday, May 4,2022 at Burns-Garfield Funeral Home, 3175 E. Genesee St. Syracuse, NY.  

Calling hour will be from 10-11 am prior to the service.  Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
