Helen K. Barry

Helen K. Barry of Kirkville, NY passed away on August 15, 2023. Born to Barbara & Charles C. Barry on June 23, 1950, Helen lived in Central New York for most of her life. She worked as a legal assistant for over 30 years for several law firms locally, as well as in North Carolina and Virginia. 

 

Helen’s biggest love was her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She didn’t have any kids of her own, but she had everyone else’s. She lovingly treated her niece Jennifer and nephew Greg as her own. She loved being called Auntie, especially from Matt, Sara, Chrissy, Devin and the other cousins. She adored her grand niece, Zoey, her treasure. Helen was a kind, caring and generous person her entire life.

 

In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her brother Frank Barry, who she will be so happy to be reunited with in heaven. 

 

Helen is survived by sister Nancy Barry, brother Charles R. Barry, niece Jennifer Simpson (Mark), nephew Greg Barry(Jaime), grand niece Zoey Renee’ Simpson, and sister in law Marilou (Al Noce), as well as many cousins & friends. All of whom will miss her dearly. 

 

The family would like to thank the staff on Floor 4 North & the ICU at Crouse Hospital for their outstanding care for Helen. It will never be forgotten.

 

The Barry family is planning a  Memorial Mass for a future date, information to be announced, there will be no calling hours.
