Elizabeth Miller

Elizabeth W. Miller of Syracuse passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 to join the Angels. Born in England, her family migrated to Australia around 1950 to her new hometown of Orange, New South Wales.
She worked in Sydney in television, newspaper, advertising, and hotels. She also volunteered to give tours to US servicemen on leave from Vietnam. Luckily, future husband Vincent met her but had to soon return back to Vietnam. After exchanging 25 page letters for months he returned to the US and she came over to him. Then, after 51 years of blissful marriage, four children and two grandchildren, she passed to heaven, and is now with the angels.
She touched so many lives with her character and compassion (as a hospice volunteer), and loved to travel, sew and crochet gifts, sing in the church choir, and was partial to miniature dachshunds and our fireplace. She will be greatly missed. Predeceased by her beloved son Andrew in 2018, Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Vincent, children, Katherine, Rebecca, Michael, and grandchildren, Charles and William.

Calling hours will be held on  Sunday April 30, 2023 from 2- 5 pm at Burns Garfield Funeral Home, 3175 East Genesee St. Syracuse
