Elizabeth M. Coss

Elizabeth M. Coss, 98, of Syracuse passed away Saturday November 7, 2015. Betty chose to leave this life as she lived it, peacefully with great dignity and on her own terms. A native of Syracuse Betty had been a resident of St. Camillus for the past six years where she enjoyed actively participating in the community and treasured the friendships she was able to make throughout her time there. A member of the first graduating class of St. Patrick's School in 1935 Betty was very proud of her career as a Materials Clerk at Carrier Corp. retiring after 21 years of service with the company.

A communicate of St Therese Church Betty and a member of the Alter Rosary Society and the Catholic Woman's Club. She also enjoyed her involvement in several local organizations including the Red Hat Society, the Happy Roamers, the Lincoln Cultural Association, and the Carrier Woman's Club.

Predeceased by her husband Robert in 1988. Betty is survived her daughter Laura (Ronald) Cottrell of Solvay. Grandsons Brian (Lisa) of Buffalo and Robert Cottrell r. of Solvay. Great-Grandchildren Stephanie, Robert Jr. and Cody. Great Great- Grandchildren Jada and Sophia. her brother James Reese of Tomball, TX. as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday, November 11th at All Saints Church. 1340 Lancaster Ave. Syracuse. Calling hours will be Today Tuesday November 10 from 4-7 PM at Burns-Garfield Life Celebration Home 3175 East Genesee St. Syracuse.

Donations in Betty's name may be made to ones favorite charity.
