Dorothea Theodore passed away peacefully at home with her sister by her side on Monday, May 18, 2020 just before her 94th birthday. She was born in Syracuse the daughter of the late William and Helen Theodore. She was a graduate of Syracuse University. Following graduation she was employed by crucible steel for 34 years and took an early retirement to be with her mother who was ill.
She enjoyed traveling especially to Cape Cod and Greece, and delighted in taking cruises with her friends. She loved baking and gardening. She looked forward to meeting with friends at various organizations which included the Corinthian Club, Syracuse English Speaking Union, and the Syracuse Antique Club. She was a member of Saint Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church and the Philoptohos Society. She enjoyed working at the Greek Cultural festival especially in the early years of the festival when she co-chaired the pastry booth.
Dorothea is survived by her sister Eleanor.
