David Ward

David B. Ward of the Cortland area passed away September 10, 2019. Born August 15, 1948 in Canastota, the son of David and Hilda Ward. David loved life and lived it to the fullest as he enjoyed taking road trips to local vineyards, fruit stands and small shops. He had a passion for gardening, home building projects and collecting antiques. David and his wife Marsha owned The Village Lamp Shop where he enjoyed restoring antique lighting. After retiring but never slowing down, he and Marsha retired to a family cottage on Lake Como where he enjoyed spending time with his family. David is survived by his wife and best friend of 51 years Marsha, his 5 children; Kimberly, Tracy (Robert), David (April), Chris (Tina), Joseph (Chantal). His beloved Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, 2 sisters Myrna and Linda and a brother Alan.
