Our beloved David Galstyan passed over to the other side on the 6th of April, 2022 at the age of 29 in his happy place - Barton Springs Park in Austin, TX where he resided amongst his beautiful community of friends.
When his loved ones visited his final resting place, they witnessed a blissful fresh water oasis, surrounded by lush trees, swimming turtles and buzzing dragon flies. It was clear why he loved this spot so much.
David was a much loved brother, a treasured son, a delightful companion and beautiful friend.
He was an artist, a dreamer, a creative. A whimsical deep thinker and our little philosopher. He loved creating and playing music, reading books, traveling & exploring, dancing, cooking and spending quality time with his loved ones and friends. He spent countless hours “philosophizing” life and its meaning with those closest to him.
David was gentle and kind. He was warm, loving and welcoming to all those around him. He had a beautiful, curious and adventurous spirit that sought to learn as much as he could about the world around him.
David always had a deep connection to nature, and would often soak it all in - sitting in solitude and reflecting. Over the recent few years, David developed many deep and soul-nourishing connections within his community in Austin, TX where he was a cherished brother and valued member of his tribe. There he touched, inspired and made a profound impact on many hearts through his love and light.
In Syracuse, his mother Lolita, father Vaghram and sister Yelena, as well as his extended network of friends and relatives deeply mourn his early departure with heavy hearts.
We are grateful for the community’s outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
