D. Michael "Mick" Seemann

Dale Michael "Mick" Seemann passed away peacefully on May 31, 2024 surrounded by loving family.

Mick was born in Utica, NY to Edith and Elmer Seemann on September 1, 1940. He graduated from St. Francis de Sales High School in 1958.  He earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mathematics from the University of Toronto, a Masters Degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, and a PhD in Mathematics from Syracuse University. As a computer programmer, he worked for Boeing in Seattle, WA, and General Electric in NY. Later, Mick became a professor at Syracuse University prior to becoming an accomplished Real Estate Investor for almost 50 years. He loved baseball, tennis, fly fishing, golfing, warm weather, and his farm.

Mick is survived by his three sons: Christian (Jackie), Patrick (Elizabeth) and Joseph (Sabrina). He is also survived by his two beloved grandchildren Harper and Theo, his brother Robert (Kathy) and sister Judith (Nik). His youngest sister Anne passed in 2019.  He also leaves many friends, nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

Heartfelt thanks go out to his medical professionals who provided loving care and support.  All kindness and caring for Mick will not be forgotten and is deeply appreciated.

Services will be held on June 29, 2024 at Erwin First Methodist Church located at

920 Euclid Avenue, Syracuse, New York 13210 Calling hours, at the Church, will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.Funeral Service will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
