He graduated from Admiral Farragut Academy and York College. He also attended the University of Kentucky. At U.K. he met Diane DeAngelis, a visiting student from Nazareth College in Rochester. He followed Diane to Rochester and worked for Sibley's. Craig and Diane were married in 1973. Sibley's transferred Craig to Syracuse to be on the opening staff of Sibley's in Fayetteville. Craig was an active parent at both Holy Cross and CBA's PTA's. He proudly initiated the auction fundraiser at Holy Cross school. He was on the board of the Song Lake Association and loved spending time at his peaceful camp on the lake.
Craig's friendships were extremely important to him. With his childhood friends he formed the Royal Order of the Sloth. During his adult years he developed a special bond with the Council of Elders at Breugger's. The Elders met early morning hours for coffee and friendship for many years of his life indulging in long conversations, lively debates, and good ole laughter.
Craig loved his daughter Kaitlin. He loved being a Dad. Experiencing Song Lake and Lavallette shore with his grandchildren Kyle and Meleya brought him great pleasure. He felt honored to be raising his grandson Kyle. He often said that Kyle brought light to his day and kept his mind active.
