Christopher M. Kennedy

Christopher Michael Kennedy, 24, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 in Middlesboro, KY. He was born at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse on October 31, 1991. He was a graduate of Manlius Pebble Hill School and attended Onondaga Community College.

Christopher is survived by his mother, Adrienne M. Kennedy and his father, Gregory L. Bates; a son Malakhi Cameron Kennedy; siblings Jacquiese Bates, Marquiese Bates, Nakir Bates, Naya Bates and Gregory Bates Jr.; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Kennedy and pre-deceased by his maternal grandfather Marcus Kennedy, Jr.; his paternal grandparents Linda K. Bates, Gregory Matthews, James Matthews and Betty Matthews; his maternal uncle Marcus (Doreen) Kennedy, III; maternal aunt Andréa (Stephen) Tull; several cousins Ashley Tull, Jasmine Kennedy, Makenzie Kennedy and Madisyn Kennedy; a nephew Stephon Bates and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 1st at Burns Garfield Funeral Home, 3175 East Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY 13224 at 11:00 AM. Calling hours will be from 10am – 11am. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, immediately following the service.
