Christopher Barker

Christopher Barker, 45, of Jamesville passed away at home on October 30, 2023. Christopher was a graduate of Jamesville Dewitt High School class of 1997 where he excelled on the baseball and golf teams. He graduated from the University of Rochester with Degrees in Chemistry and Economics. He worked as a financial analyst for JW Burns Financial in Syracuse. A gifted golfer he enjoyed competing at the Pompey Club and spending time on the golf course. Christopher cherished being a beloved uncle to Jack and Margot who brought great joy to his life.

Christopher is survived by his parents Stephen and Connie Barker; brother Eric and sister Stephanie (Marc) Gattie and their children Jack and Margot, his grandmother Miriam as well as his extended family in both Ohio and Central New York.

Calling Hours will be Friday, November 3,  from 4-6 pm followed by a Memorial Service at Burns- Garfield Funeral Home, 3175 East Genesee St. Syracuse.
